Released documents can be made obsolete by users with permission level of Quality Owner, Approver and Editor.

Obsolete Documents

Access Document Control under Process in the Navigation bar. 

If a released document is no longer being used, it can then be obsoleted. Only draft documents can be deleted. 

Select the document in which you are interested and select Obsolete.

You will be asked to confirm if you want to obsolete that document. 

When you click Obsolete, the document will be put in an Obsolete - Draft state. 

You can also undo the Obsolete if you want to revert back.

To complete the process, you must submit a Change Request to obsolete this document. When the Change Request is approved, the document will automatically be moved to the obsolete folder in the Document Control module. Access the Obsolete Folder through Show Folders then selecting the Obsolete folder.
