Users with the permission level of Quality Owner and Approver can approve or deny Approvals.
There are three ways to approve or deny Approvals from:
- Notification Bell
- Approvals Module
Note: This video was created using V1.25.8. Enzyme is updated weekly so some elements may change.
You can review the approval from the notification bell.
Each approval request will show the product name, requester, date requested, and item information. If there is a previous version of the item, a summary of the previous version will be shown. Click on the item title to view more information about the approval. You can approve or deny the changes from here. When you approve an item, you approve all of the approvals in the record its a part of.
The Dashboard will show you the Pending Signature Requests. From there you can take action on the changes. Clicking on the approval will show you more details about it. When you approve a record, you approve all the items within it.
You can also take action in the Approvals Module. When you first view the module, the Awaiting My Input toggle is ON so you will see all the approvals that require your attention, that are pending or approvals you initiated.
Scroll down to the approval you are looking into; there, you can take the appropriate action.
When you approve record, if needed you can leave a comment as you approve it. You approve all the items within the record.
If you deny an item, if needed you can indicate the reason for your denial.
Once you take action- it will be removed from the Awaiting My Input filter. To view all of the approvals, turn Awaiting My Input toggle OFF.
Then you'll be able to see all the approvals and their status. When you hover over the Initiated date or Submitted date- you will see the UTC Time, Local time and Company time at which it was initiated/submitted.
Once the record is approved/denied, when you open the approval, you will then see the date the action was taken and the comments and approval history.
At any time, you can click on the Export icon to export the current approvals and their status.
