Admins (permission level of a Quality Owner) have the ability to assign one-time training to a specific user. 

Assigning individual training is useful in cases where an individual needs to complete a task (attend a training, get a certification) that is not required for their entire role or if an external consultant who is not a part of a role needs training on a QMS document.

Access Training under the Process tab in the Navigation menu. 

Assign Individual, One-Time Training


If you want to assign a document with a quiz, first create the quiz questions. If you want to assign a task, first create the task

Then, in the Curricula tab, click on +Manually Assign Training

Enter information about the training.

User: Select the user to whom you want to assign this one-time training.
Item: Enter the item (document or active task) you want them to complete. As you type the item will be displayed and you can add it to the list. If training is assigned for a document with quiz questions, the user will have to complete the quiz questions.
Due Date: Set the date by which this training should be completed. 

Be sure to Save Changes

Now that the training has been assigned, you will see it in matrix in the Company Training Status

Mark Training Complete

When enabled in the Training tab in Company Settings - Quality Owners have the ability to mark a user's training completed.

In the Matrix View, click on the assignment in which you are interested. Click on Mark Complete to manually confirm the user has completed the document training or task. 

Remove Training Assignment

If you want to remove a manual training assignment- you can do so from Company Training Status

Note: To remove a document or task that is part of a recurring curriculum, it must be removed from the curriculum itself. It cannot be removed from the assignment. 

From the Company Training status, select the user whose training assignment you want to view.

If the manual assignment has not yet been completed, you can remove it for the user.
