Only users with permission level of Quality Owners can move documents among folders.
In Document Control module, select the document you'd like to move.
From either the Effective Version or Draft Version tabs, select Edit Metadata.
Here you will be able to:
Tags: Add any tags (if needed) you want associated with the document
Document Folder: Select the document folder to which you'd like to move the document.
Associated Products: Select the product (s) you want the document to be associated with.
Once you have selected the new folder and pertinent information, click Update.
Your document will now appear in the new folder you had selected.
