Document Control module offers several advanced features for both Admins and Users.

Here's a look at what we'll cover in this course!

‍Document Processing in Enzyme

The Document Control module supports many document types.

Enzyme will automatically process documents (i.e. add headers and footers to the PDFs) of the following native document types. It will also generate a PDF of the updated file upon each new revision or approval.

  • Word (.doc, .docx)

  • Excel (.xls, .xlsx)

  • PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx)

  • PDF (.pdf)

In addition Enzyme accepts the following but is not limited to:

  • Images (.gif, .png, .jpg, psd)

  • Videos (.mp4)

  • Zip (.zip)

Note: Enzyme will keep these document files as is once uploaded.

Managing Redlines

Enzyme automatically processes redlines for native word (.docx) documents.

The redlines are processed between the current draft document and the previous effective version of the document.

Once the draft document is routed for approval and becomes effective, the redlines displayed will be between the current and previous effective versions. If redlines are available, they will be displayed in the Redlines tab of the document. They will also be available in the Version History tab.

Google Drive Integration

In Enzyme, you can link (and unlink) your Google Drive to your account to easily access documents in your drive.

When the integration is enabled, as you are creating a new or revising a document, you will have the option to upload the file from your computer or Google drive. In the Version History tab, you will have the option to export documents directly into Google drive.
